New this Year
Shamanic Workshops 2010
Facilitated by Jane Bradshaw
This year I am introducing a second level shamanic workshop in addition to the introductory level 1. As before, the introductory workshop will enable participants to experience journeying to non ordinary reality to meet with their power animals and spirit guides. The level 2 workshop will build on the relationships with our guides and will involve working out doors in nature – connecting with and healing the land as well as ourselves. Previous experience of journeying and a knowledge of your guides is a requirement for the level 2 workshop.
Level 1 Workshop
Saturday 31st July 2010, 10.30-16.30
Manu Centre, Bradford on Avon
Cost: £50
This will be an experiential workshop in which we will journey to non-ordinary reality using the beat of the drum, to meet with power animals and spirit guides. We will spend time shapeshifting and will also undertake a journey to obtain guidance for another person. There will be an opportunity for drumming and rattling so please bring along your drum or rattle if you have one. This workshop is suitable for anyone who has an open heart and wishes to explore the realms of Spirit in a safe and structured way. An ability to dream helps! Experience of shamanic journeying is necessary in order to join in the level 2 workshop (see below).
Level 2 workshop
Saturday 18th September 2010, 14.00 -20.00
Land near Frome
Cost: £50
This workshop will be based outdoors in nature so that we can spend time connecting with the spirit of the land, the trees, the elements and the directions. We will undertake shamanic journeys to meet with these spirits so prior experience of journeying and a connection with your spiritual allies is a requisite (see level 1 workshop above). We will seek guidance for ourselves and to help us to know what we can do to help to heal the land (our planet and home). As this workshop will be close to the Autumn Equinox and Harvest time we will spend time celebrating these aspects. As part of this we will have a shared meal towards the end of the workshop to celebrate the gifts from nature. Opportunities for drumming, rattling and singing will be created as part of the workshop
As we will be outdoors you will need to be prepared to experience whatever the elements send our way but in the event of a forecast of severely wet weather an alternative – indoor -venue will be sought or the workshop may have to be postponed.
