Full Spectrum Healing

THE NEXT COURSE WILL COMMENCE SEPTEMBER 2010

We are pleased to offer a new two-year accredited qualification course in healing, with an emphasis on personal, spiritual and psychic development, counselling skills, and anatomy and physiology. This course is not a “quick fix”, but an opportunity to explore a large variety of healing techniques, whilst gaining a wider understanding of self, as well as the physical, mental and energetic body.

Full Spectrum Healing is accredited by the General Natural Practitioners' Guild, fulfilling the requirements for the Core Module of their training, and is a recognised training of the Association for Therapeutic Healers.

Upon completing the course, students will be awarded stand-alone certification in anatomy and physiology and in counselling skills, as well as the healing certification. All teachers are highly qualified with many years experience in both practise and teaching, and there are guest teachers in specialty subjects.

The first year will focus on the basics and the many techniques at our disposal. The second year will have an emphasis on more subtle work, and practise under supervision.

After qualification, there is a further year available for qualification in crystal healing, for those who wish to continue.

Classes have a maximum of 10 students in the Healing Spectrum, 12 in Anatomy & Physiology and Couselling Skills.

This course is both stimulating and fun, will give students an opportunity to work on their own self-development, and give them the knowledge, confidence and grounding to work successfully in the field of healing.

COURSE FEES: £350 per term (this includes A&P and Counselling Skills)

The Healing Spectrum takes place on four weekend days per term (plus A & P and Counselling).

Anatomy and Physiology

This course is taught concurrently with the two-year healing course. We are including A & P as part of the full training, as we believe, as healers, it is essential to have a working knowledge of the body. The course offered is more comprehensive and stimulating than those currently available through most adult education colleges.

The first year of this training will cover A & P in depth, followed by a second year exploring the energetic implications and the most recent scientific discoveries and theories, showing a correlation between how we understand healing and energy, and how the body works.

Students already holding an A & P certificate will be asked to sit a short exam before they are exempted from taking the first year of the course. The second year is mandatory.

Anatomy and Physiology is available as a stand-alone course, for £150 per term

Counselling Skills

Basic counselling skills are essential to help you understand and deal sensitively and compassionately with clients, especially when they have experienced crisis or trauma. Counselling Skills (or "Listening Skills") is now a requirement for all complementary practitioners.

This course will run concurrently with the 2-year healing course. It will not give you a full qualification in counselling, which takes a minimum of 4 years, but is a certification course that will give you valuable skills for working with your clients, as well as increasing your own self-awareness. It is equivalent to the first 18 months of counselling training, and can be transferred should you wish to complete training as a counsellor.

Counselling Skills is available as a stand-alone CPD course for £120 per term

Additional Workshops

We are offering add-on courses and workshops to enhance the course. These will include a series of workshops exploring play, energy & creativity, with counsellor Jo Green, Candala Coach Lizzie Davies, weaver and healer Joan Eytle Kendall, and ceramicist and Tai Chi teacher, Teena Gould. We hope to include the wonderful "Body Knowledge, Body Wisdom" course taught by biologist and healer, Dr Jenn Altman.

Continuing Professional Development
All individual courses and workshops are open as stand alone CPDs, subject to available places. Students taking the full course will be given priority.
