Full Spectrum Healing
THE NEXT COURSE WILL COMMENCE SEPTEMBER 2012
Full Spectrum Healing is a unique multi-modality and multi-dimensional diploma course in Therapeutic Healing, presented over a period of two years. It is accredited through both the Association for Therapeutic Healers (ATH) and the Institute for Complementary and Natural Medicine, and fulfils the requirements of training for both organisations. Successful completion entitles the candidate to membership with both ATH and ICNM, subject to panel, and eligibility for insurance as a practitioner.
Students experience a wide variety of methods and approach, as well as different schools of thought, and are guided through deep self-exploration, allowing them to find their own way of working within a safe, structured and nurturing environment. Every subject is examined from the basics up, making this course appropriate for beginners, but it is most suitable for experienced complementary practitioners who have achieved a level of maturity. Approach is both academic and experiential, so it is interesting as well as enjoyable, and students receive support and supervision throughout the training.
The course includes stand-alone certificated modules in Counselling Skills, and Anatomy & Physiology, with classes in both subjects specifically designed for complementary therapists. All facilitators are highly qualified with several years experience, and there are guest facilitators for specialist subjects. Classes are small, allowing students to receive a high level of individual attention. For those who wish to carry on after receiving their diploma, there is a follow-on postgraduate certificate course in Crystal Healing. All Core Subjects, including The Healing Spectrum, are available as stand-alone CPD courses.
Training takes place at Earthworks School for the Healing Arts, which has college accreditation. It is located in the beautiful and tranquil hamlet of Avoncliff, near Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire. The course is non-residential, and runs primarily on weekends.

Anatomy and Physiology
This course is presented concurrently with the two-year healing course. We are including A & P as part of the full training, as we believe, as healers, it is essential to have a working knowledge of the body. The course offered is more comprehensive and stimulating than those currently available through most adult education colleges.
The first year of this training is an overview of A&P. The second year looks at how the physical body functions within the realm of energy healing. It includes topics such as the interrelationships between thoughts, emotions and posture, the science behind bioenergy healing and the effects of electromagnetic fields on human physiology. The second half of the course looks in detail at the chakras, considering the particular energy held within each chakra and the mental, physical and emotional disorders that are associated with their dysfunctions. The course also includes some basic clinical medicine, enabling students to gain an understanding of some of the most common disorders that they are likely encounter during their healing careers.
Students already holding an A & P certificate will be asked to sit a short exam before they are exempted from taking the first year of the course. The second year is mandatory.
Anatomy and Physiology is available as a stand-alone course, for £1,100 (£550 per year)
The second year only, Further Explorations in Anatomy and Physiology, is available as a CPD course for qualified practitioners, for £600
This course is facilitated by: Jan Bradshaw and Anna McLaren
The next course will commence January 2012
Counselling Skills
Basic counselling skills are essential to help you understand and deal sensitively and compassionately with clients, especially when they have experienced crisis or trauma. Counselling Skills (or “Listening Skills”) is now a requirement for all complementary practitioners.
This course will run for one year of the the healing course. It will not give you a full qualification in counselling, but is a certification course that will give you valuable skills for working with your clients, as well as increasing your own self-awareness.
Counselling Skills is available as a stand-alone CPD course for £600
This course is facilitated by: Clare Vause
The next course will commence January 2012
Additional Workshops
We are offering add-on courses and workshops to enhance the course. These will include a series of workshops exploring play, energy & creativity, with counsellor Jo Green, ceramicist and Tai Chi teacher, Teena Gould and others. We also hope to include the wonderful “Body Knowledge, Body Wisdom” course taught by biologist and healer, Dr Jenn Altman.
Continuing Professional Development
All individual courses and workshops are open as stand alone CPDs, subject to available places. Students taking the full course will be given priority.
