Anatomy and Physiology

This course is presented concurrently with the two-year healing course. We are including A & P as part of the full training, as we believe, as healers, it is essential to have a working knowledge of the body. The course offered is more comprehensive and stimulating than those currently available through most adult education colleges.

The first year of this training is an overview of A&P. The second year looks at how the physical body functions within the realm of energy healing. It includes topics such as the interrelationships between thoughts, emotions and posture, the science behind bioenergy healing and the effects of electromagnetic fields on human physiology. The second half of the course looks in detail at the chakras, considering the particular energy held within each chakra and the mental, physical and emotional disorders that are associated with their dysfunctions. The course also includes some basic clinical medicine, enabling students to gain an understanding of some of the most common disorders that they are likely encounter during their healing careers.

Students already holding an A & P certificate will be asked to sit a short exam before they are exempted from taking the first year of the course. The second year is mandatory.

Anatomy and Physiology is available as a stand-alone course, for £1,100 (£550 per year)
This course is facilitated by: Jan Bradshaw and Anna McLaren
The next course will commence January 2012
